Now, UP headquarters are located in downtown Omaha. Amtrak stops in five Nebraska cities as it connects Chicago, Denver and San Francisco. And a handful of small local railroads haul grain. The Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad has cornered Nebraska’s rail tourism market.
